Nike Flyknit use a material made from weaved elasticene, this provides a superior breath-ability, and response to the users movements, whilst giving a surprising amount of support and strength. Could be applied to the scrum-cap to improve comfortability.

Model view when attached. After testing this model I found players liked the idea of the hidden, and simplified attachment, however it needed some refining to provide more security around the whole head. As you can see it left a large gap at the back of the head which could still suffer from serious impact.
